I log this entry in my blog on the eve of the eve of my BIG trip to New York City to see my good friend and fellow soon to be 40-year-old pal, Gwen Gibson Lytle. We were best friends in high school and she's the only one I have kept in consistent contact with since those glory days. She is now the general manager of the Marriott Residence Inn Times Square in Manhattan and it is there I will meet her Thursday night for 5 Amazing, shopping-filled, late-night fun, big city days. I have been way too busy the past few months and totally need the escape. I will fill you all in when I return!
